Established in 2003 by Mr. Ramamoorthy S, the organization is an industry leader in the service and calibration of testing instruments used in the Tyre & Rubber industry. The company is the sole agent of Ektrontek (Taiwan), Wallace Instruments (UK), AlfaMirage (Japan) and Barwell (UK) in India and Sri Lanka for the sales and service of respective products ranging from microhardness testers, rheometers, densimeters, mooney viscometers all the way up to more complex machines like Preformers and Vibration Simulators.

Alfatek Services consists of a team of 15 engineers, and 10 staff members. The team of engineers led by the CEO, Mr. Ramamoorthy S, handle service, calibration and installation of instruments by visiting various clients all over India and Sri Lanka. The staff members look after the day to day operations of the company. Alfatek Services is accredited by NABL – India to ISO/IEC 17025 standard in the stream of Mechanical and Thermal calibration of rubber testing instruments since April 2006. The organisation is having an Inhouse Calibration lab accredited by NABL for calibration of Shore A Durometer, Densimeter etc and is having registered office in Trivandrum with branch offices in Chennai and Mumbai.
